ABOUT

In 2007 the Papillion Garden Club was founded by a small group of women driven by a desire to share the joy of gardening with other like-minded people.  People who feel that gardening isn’t “work,” but rather an opportunity to enjoy nature, learn, and create something beautiful all while benefitting both physically and emotionally.

Today the club functions as a social outlet with its meetings and field trips, a “triage center” for members’ garden problems, a garden academy complete with guest speakers, a plant source as members share garden extras, and a promoter of civic pride through its maintenance of the Papillion Blue Star Memorial and other community activities.  The 50+ members include gardeners with decades of experience and those just starting out who need a little guidance.  All are welcome.  The club philosophy is that every gardener, no matter what level of experience or size of the garden, has something to learn and something worthwhile to share.
